We Help Teens Overcome Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)

...So They Can Live Free, Not Just "Cope"

Are You Feeling This?

Your Teen’s Life Has Been Taken Over by Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
Once upon a time, your child was full of life. Now, she’s been diagnosed with FND (or Non-Epileptic Seizures). You’re desperate to make it go away, but how? You don’t even know what you're up against. You’ve been to doctor after doctor, each giving a different answer, and none of them seem to know what’s really going on.

Your Teen Is Missing Out on Everything
While you search frantically for the magic answer, her life is slipping away. She’s missing school, skipping activities she used to love, and isolating from friends and even family. It’s like she’s fading right in front of you, and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.

You Feel Like You’re Running in Circles
You spend sleepless nights on the internet, reading scientific articles, and even scrolling through TikTok. You’re chasing any shred of hope, any solution. But everything feels like a guessing game, and none of it sticks.

You’ve Tried Every Specialist You Can Find
You’ve seen the mental health therapists, the physical therapists, the occupational therapists. Maybe you’ve even tried hospital-based programs. Your child seems like she’s getting better... but then the symptoms come crashing back. The flare-ups, the setbacks—they don’t stop. You can’t shake the feeling that something is missing, that there’s a crucial piece no one’s telling you about.

You Know More Than the Doctors
This isn’t about your ego. But at this point, you know more about FND than the doctors in the ER who just shrug and say, “It’s all in her head. Nothing we can do. Don’t bother coming back.” You know there’s more going on, but no one seems to know what to do about it.

Your Emotions Are All Over the Place
Every day, your child’s symptoms come and go, dragging your emotions through the mud. There’s no joy in this rollercoaster. It’s exhausting and draining. You’re holding on, but it’s getting harder to believe you’ll ever find the help she needs.

No One Around You Understands
You and your child are battling something no one else seems to understand. Friends, family, school, even other parents—they don’t get it. And deep down, you’re terrified. What if your child never gets better? What if you’ve lost the happy, carefree child you once knew forever?

You’ve Given Up So Much
From the moment you realized something wasn’t right, you’ve been looking for answers. But all you’ve found are dead ends. Now, you’re sacrificing more than you ever imagined—missing your other kids' games, canceling family vacations, taking time off work, or skipping coffee dates with your friends or spouse. Your whole life has become about caregiving, about trying to manage the unpredictable storm of FND.

Build The Skills That Resolve FND, Instead of Letting FND Hold Your Teen Hostage

Know Exactly What FND Is (And What It’s Not)
Finally, you’ll have the exact answers you’ve been desperate for—what FND really is. No more chasing after a medical mystery. FND isn’t just about stress, anxiety, trauma, or psychological issues. We’ll give you and your teen clarity, so you can stop feeling lost and start feeling in control.

Resolve FND Once and For All
This is where we’re different. We’re not just handing you a few tips and tools to manage symptoms. We’re teaching you the exact steps to resolve FND, for good. Unlike hospital-based programs that only work with your teen for a few weeks before sending you off to see other providers, we’re here to guide you every step of the way. Our goal is to help your child get back to living a full, vibrant life—free from the grip of FND.

Get Your Life Back and Live Fully Again
Imagine returning to a life where FND no longer dominates your days. You’ll regain normalcy, with routines, plans, and joy that aren’t derailed by unpredictable symptoms.

Reconnect with Your Happy, Carefree Child
Remember the joyful, energetic child you once knew? With the right approach, you can see her return. Watch her smile, laugh, and live freely again, without FND casting a shadow over every moment.

Watch Your Child Grow with Unshakable Resilience
Not only will your child overcome FND, but she’ll emerge stronger than before. You’ll witness her grow into a resilient young person, ready to tackle whatever life throws her way—without fear of FND holding her back.

How We Can Help

Teen FND Academy™ is a 6-month online group coaching program for teens (ages 12-18) with FND and their parents. Under the guidance of Dr. Lee, a pediatric health psychologist and FND expert, families will build the necessary skills to overcome FND, along with a supportive community of other families on the same journey.

BRAIN For Teens™

The curriculum, BRAIN (Building Resilience And Improving Neurohealth) for TeensTM has more than 50 short, easy-to-understand videos that explain what FND is and how to resolve it.

Each video is simple and includes interactive worksheets and handouts to help your teen and family use what they learn.

You’ll get a clear plan and steps to help your teen get better, and you can go at your own pace.

Weekly Group Coaching Calls

Each week, both parents and teens separately join live coaching calls, led by me, Dr. Lee.

During these calls, you can ask questions, get advice, and learn new ways to handle FND.

I’m here to support you, along with other families, so you never feel alone.

These coaching sessions help you stay on track and ensure your teen is improving step by step.

Community Forum

You’ll also join a private online group with separate forums for teens and parents.

The teen forum lets your child connect with other teens who understand each other of what they’re going through.

The parent forum is where you can share your own experiences, get advice, and support each other whenever you need it.

Both forums are open all the time, and Dr. Lee and her team will be actively offering personalized support throughout the program.

"I work in pediatric neurology and see patients with FND on a regular basis. I have known Dr. Lee for the past year and referred many patients with this diagnosis to her. I trust Dr. Lee completely, she is an expert in FND, with the tools to help. Under her guidance, patients have gotten better and they have lasting results. I appreciate Dr. Lee so much that Dr. Lee has straightforward educational videos available on YouTube for patients and families to access for learning purposes, for deepening their understanding about FND. Katharine Meddles, MD

"As a pediatric neurologist, it can be a struggle to find therapists that are familiar with management for migraines and functional disorders of the nervous system. Dr. Lee has experience with these conditions and the feedback I have received from patients has been quite positive. I am so happy to have found Dr. Lee to help patients with conditions that can be debilitating and poorly responsive to medical therapies."

Jessica Litwin, MD

"Dr. Lee is amazing. She is knowledgeable and experienced. I refer patients to her frequently. Her multi-modality and evidence-based approach works so well with kids with chronic health issues. She has been successful in helping so many of my patients, who at times have complex issues. I can't say enough good things about my experience working with Dr. Lee and I recommend her highly."

Hi there, I'm Dr. Lee

Founder of Teen FND Academy™—an online group coaching program that helps parents and teens resolve Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), including Non-Epileptic Seizures (PNES/NES).

Growing up as a competitive dancer, I dealt with chronic pain and medical issues. For the longest time, I thought life would always be hard because of my health conditions, and I almost gave up. But I learned the skills and strategies to overcome my challenges and fully recover.

With my education from UCLA and Pepperdine University, and over 10 years of experience at the nation's top children’s hospitals, I’ve helped hundreds of teens and their parents overcome serious medical conditions. After my own journey, I made it my mission to help teens with FND because they deserve to thrive.

Every teen I’ve worked with who put in the effort has gotten better—many have completely resolved their symptoms. Parents often express their gratitude, thrilled to have their resilient, happy child back.

Through Teen FND Academy™, families who thought about giving up have not only overcome FND but have built a stable and bright future. These teens are living strong, healthy lives again.

My goal is to share everything I know with you so your teen can be healthy, happy, and ready to take on life beyond FND.

You and your teen deserve this.
